Lifetime map updates are now $70 (both prices are current Amazon with free S&H prices, BTW). Most folks that post here feel that at an Amazon price of $42 per update, this is the last option they'd consider. If you are using Garmin Nuvi 255w updates, or any other Nuvi series, and seeking any related help, then you are at the right destination. The Garmin Nuvi series don’t seek any introduction. I only drive about 8,000 miles a year, but I do take long trips several times a year. Is it about time to update them or should I wait a little longer? If now, where is the most economical place to get a map update? The maps on my Garmin 255W are about a year and a half old.
